Purpose
A strong corporate identity is the foundation and focus of all good marketing efforts. It lays the groundwork, telling customers, prospects and the public who we are and what kind of experience they can expect when interacting with us. AlignLife has invested substantially in its corporate identity. The image, typography and words are carefully designed to convey our identity. In order to establish and maintain that identity in the mind of the public, we must adhere to strict standards of usage.
The Logo
Our logo may be used in its 2-color form (pantone 188 and 5757) or in black and white. Both the type and the door image are fixed and may not be re-drawn or altered in any way. We will provide .eps, .jpg, .pdf and .tif files for both the 2-color and the black-and-white version. Always use these files; do not alter or add to the art.
The Taglines
Two AlignLife taglines are available for your use: The Natural Health Center and Great Health Awaits You. You may select either one for your franchise, and if you chose, you can also switch taglines for individual communication pieces. When combining either tagline with the logo, use the approved files in order to keep the relative size and placement of the elements correct. It is always a good idea to include a tagline somewhere in each communication piece. It is required to use The Natural Health Center for the tagline when installing outdoor signage.
Logo Usage
In general the logo should stand on its own. It should never read as part of copy, but it can be paired with the tagline as prescribed above. Always place the logo on a clear portion of the page, screen or surface. In print, web and other on-screen media, it is preferable to place the logo at the horizontal center of the page.The background should be a solid color or an area clear of texture and other distracting elements, and it should provide a strong contrast with the logo.
Avoid alterations or abuses of the logo such as the following:
• addition of shadows, silhouettes, gradients or other elements not included in the original art
• use of colors other than the approved corporate colors
• stretching, squeezing, or otherwise distorting the mark
• cropping or covering over part of the logo
• repeating the logo for use as a wallpaper or background
Collateral Materials & Print Communications.
Our collateral materials help reinforce our identity among our patients and business associates. Incorporate our corporate colors (pantone 188 and 5757) in your design, and do not add other colors that can water down or detract from the corporate colors. Tints (or reduced percentages) of the specified pantone colors may be used. Use our corporate typefaces (Optima and Baskerville) exclusively to maintain a consistent feel. Also, display the logo prominently with plenty of clear space, and keep the layout of all collateral pieces clean and uncluttered.
