AlignLife's Gonstead Chiropractic Approach

                                                                                                                                                                                                              Dr. Clarence S. Gonstead became a chiropractor in 1923 after he personal received incredible results from a very painful and crippling episode of rheumatoid arthritis. He went on to become one of the most revered icons of the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Gonstead created a system of analysis to enable a doctor to precisely locate the cause of the problem using five specific criteria and then he created a system that provided the most precise methods of correcting the problem.

 BACKGROUND

Dr. Gonstead was able to accomplish this massive restructuring of the methods of chiropractic analysis and adjusting because he was a mechanical engineer and he applied his knowledge and background of engineering to the management of the human spine. Dr. Gonstead was known around the world for his technique and his clinic results.

During his career he built one of the largest chiropractic clinics in the world in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. To understand the magnitude of his clinic it seated over 100 patients in the waiting room. He built a hotel to allow those traveling from around the world to stay and receive his chiropractic care. In addition, a nearby air strip was used for those traveling from other countries.
