I Was Simply Being Made More Sick By The Various Medications

After reading several other patient letters, and after receiving excellent treatment from you and your staff, I felt compelled to write this letter thanking you, and encouraging other visitors or patients.

As you know, my medical history over the last six years is too lengthy and too bizarre for a brief letter. In summary, however, prior to seeing you, I had two thoracic back surgeries, had a blood clot on the brain, was diagnosed with an immune deficiency (which required monthly infusions of plasma), suffered from chronic fatigue and dizziness, and was taking up to ten medications a day. I was also keeping Advil in business, rarely going a day without taking two or more. Last winter, I had an acute and severe allergic reaction to some steroid medicine, which landed me in the hospital. I was so miserable that I could not move my head and shoulders, could not keep any food down, and had sever migraines.

At this point, I had seen countless doctors in this area and even at the Mayo Clinic. None of them could explain (or, frankly, tried to explain) my symptoms. I felt very strongly that I was simply being made �more sick� by the various medicines and plasma I was on, and my body finally had enough last winter with the steroid.

A friend had been to see you with her daughter and highly recommended you. I was feeling very hopeful that someone with a fresh approach and knowledge of nutrition could help with the steroid reaction. I had no idea that you would be so helpful with everything else as well!

After a series of pretty simple nutritional tests, you discovered some straightforward answers to my symptoms, most notably my chronic fatigue, and the steroid reaction. I also began seeing you for chiropractic, and my neck is much improved. I had never before seen a chiropractor, but can sincerely say that my back is simply never sore. I only wish I had seen you six years ago � before my two back operations.

I continue to improve every day, and have learned to trust myself, and trust my body to heal itself. I take only one prescription medicine daily, I work out with (Neil) at Gold�s, and my energy is through the roof. I almost never have a headache and have taken only four Advil in six months. I am off the plasma infusions and feel better than I have in years. My immunologist was so thrilled and shocked when he saw me a few months ago, he encouraged me to keep doing what I was doing. I certainly didn�t need him to tell me that!

Family and friends have seen a great improvement, and I continue to recommend you to others without hesitation. In fact, we brought our son Connor (age 7) to you, and we have been thrilled with his progress. We had seen other doctors about his persistent, sharp stomach pains and earaches to no avail. After only a week on nutritional supplements (and after just one or two adjustments), he no longer complained of any pains. He is quite the convert, and we are so happy that he is on the right track at a young age.
