I Have Been Plagued with Pain for Over 40 Years

Basically, I have been plagued with pain for over 40 years, much of which the medical doctors were stumped--remedy was always more drugs or added strength until I was over-drugged! Thus I have resorted to chiropractic care through the years which helped me through my bad spells but never a cure! I can say this upfront that Dr. Esposito has helped me the most to get me back on my feet. I'd guess that I have been treated by a dozen or more different chiropractors through the years. I have experienced pain judging from a scale to be anywhere from 1 to 10. Various types of leg pain will be described as follows:

#1 Discomfort began as Restless leg syndrome.

#2 Then I began having severe episodes which would last 4 to 7 hours with pain in the 10 area which brought tears, moans and groans. Comparing to childbirth, I'd take the latter! I would be exhausted. No one ever saw me having these episodes until once while in the hospital for other reasons, I had a spell. I was given 2 shots of morphine to settle me down. A neurologist was called in and he put me on Baclofen and Mirapex but he overmedicated me and it was a bad week!

#3 Even though the above problems subsided I went into another Phase wherein I had pins and needles it seemed starting with my heels, going into my big toe and then all toes and up my leg to the knee. At the same time my toes would become so rigid that it took strong hands to break it loose--painful!

#4 Another condition which I experienced was having "jumpy legs" wherein I would just go to bed until it subsided to be safe.

#5 An added discomfort was in my right back because of spinal misalignment and would cause sciatica down my leg. this was corrected by Dr. Esposito and now my pain is in a low "1" . With her treatment I avoided back surgery which had been considered which I welcomed!

#6 My last major experience was in July when I was hospitalized for another reason and after 4 days was about ready to be dismissed when the neurologist again overdrugged me severely causing me to be in the hospital for two weeks. It was a terrible experience during which time I am sure even though not documented but my cardiologist confirmed it that I had had a minor stroke and it has taken me 4 months to get back to walking correctly and lifting my leg!

#7 To further my treatment, Dr. Esposito is trying to use body building supplements instead of so many drugs and it seems to be working. Also, I have a new neurologist who is working along the a same line. At present I am being given such pills as fish oil, iron, calcium, CoQ10, etc. to name a few. And I owe a lot of credit to my chiropractor and her program!

#8 Healthwise I started going down hill and continued for several months but just this month I can see a marked difference which is welcome news and I owe a lot of credit to my chiropractor and her program!

#9 Not only have I suffered so many leg problems but added to my woes were heart problems including a triple, a double bypass, two stents and a pacemaker and I'm fortunate to be alive says my cardiologist. On my 90th birthday last February I played a 20 minute piano program for family and friends.
